They mentioned they could provide better rates on fixed-term bonds and savings accounts. To make their pitch seem all the more legitimate, they forwarded an impressively detailed brochure through email, which really gave off an air of authenticity. Fortunately, we weren’t taken in by their scheme this time, but it certainly felt like we were on the brink. I’d advise everyone to be on high alert regarding these 0131 numbers.
