I received a call from someone claiming to be from BT. The accents were clearly Indian, and they insisted on needing to connect to my computer to check out my new BT router, which they said was showing a fault because it seemed to be sluggish. Well, that raised all sorts of red flags for me! I politely informed them that I was tied up and couldn't engage in conversation. Afterward, I reached out to BT directly, and they advised me to block that number straight away.
