2 yearsThis number just rang me, but as I didn’t recognise it, I chose to not answer. After that, a voicemail popped up with a recorded message about some suspicious transactions on my account - although they never said which account or even if it was actually mine. They mentioned purchases of £300 at Amazon and £1,100 sent abroad. The message told me to press 1 to cancel or 2 to talk to an agent. Definitely sounds like a scam to me. We ignored it, but it’s obvious they’re faking local numbers to trick people.AmazonSubmit Your Own Report (0131 445 0227)
