I had a rather suspicious call on my landline, which is supposed to be unlisted. A foreign woman was on the other end and wasted no time in claiming there were grave issues with my Virgin Media service. She was about to explain how to resolve these so-called problems when I inquired how she had obtained my number. There was a noticeable pause before she abruptly hung up. Clearly a scam; I only found out the number later through 1471, an hour post-call.
