I rang back this number since I regularly get work calls from up in Scotland. There was an automated message saying they wanted me to take a quick survey, nothing urgent, but it gave a number starting with 0161 to ring if I wanted to get back to them. Seems like a typical marketing pain or maybe a scam. The bloke’s voice was friendly enough, but he rushed through the company name so fast I couldn’t catch it properly - I'm sure some folks might get tricked by it.

I got a call from an unknown number, I said hello but no one replied and then it just ended the call. Could be a scammer so I blocked it.

My phone flagged the call as a scam, so I just ignored it. The person didn’t leave any voicemail, and I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Don’t give them the satisfaction of a return call, they just want to mess about. Best just block the number and be done with it.
