My elderly parents just told me about a dodgy call they got from someone pretending to be their bank. Gave me chills thinking how many older folks are probably getting tricked like this. Such nasty scams targeting vulnerable people, it's heartbreaking!

I just ignored the call, no genuine business person would ring that early in the morning.

I received a rather peculiar phone call where the person on the other end inquired if I'd experienced any unsolicited calls from Amazon or similar companies. I couldn’t help but express my suspicion that this call might be one of those dodgy ones. To my astonishment, the woman erupted into a string of expletives before abruptly hanging up. Absolutely appalling behaviour!

Got a call, picked up and they just dropped it without saying anything. Seems like they were testing if someone was there before trying their scam again. Think I’ll definitely get one of those phone blocker thingies soon.

I received a rather suspicious call today from a woman claiming to represent a telemarketing blocking service. She insisted that I needed to renew my subscription and promptly asked for my credit card details to send me a new block card. When I pointed out that they should already have my credit card information if the renewal was legit, she dodged the question entirely. It was painfully obvious this was a scam. Stay vigilant, folks; they’re definitely trying to get hold of your cash!

This number rang me and said it was from some call blocking centre. I told them I couldn’t talk right then, but they kept going on and on. After telling them a couple of times to be quiet, I warned I’d report them. Seriously rude, so I just blocked the number.

I got a lot of annoying calls from Indian telemarketers and tried a blocking service, but it didn’t do much since she still got through. When I spoke with the Indian woman on the phone, I told her the blocking wasn’t doing its job. Definitely avoid answering calls from 01313820191 as they might be trying to get your personal info.

I received a call from someone claiming to be with TPS, stating they were enhancing their services and needed to verify my debit card information in case it had lapsed. However, they were rather insistent and tried to make me feel foolish for doubting their legitimacy. I decided it was best to just hang up on them.

I got a call from a firm claiming to be from BT saying my line would be cut off unless I gave my personal info. I’ve also noticed calls coming from a few numbers looking very much like this one, even though they say the service provider has changed. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

My phone keeps buzzing daily, always showing a 013 prefix but the numbers in the middle keep changing. When I pick up and say hello, nobody replies. I'm quite old now and often nod off in my chair, so these calls are really annoying.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from a phone preference service, saying they could stop annoying calls. They slowly asked for my card info, step by step. When I said no, they threatened to cut off my phone line. Might frighten older folk into handing over details, worrying they’ll lose their connection. Make sure to tell your mates and seniors about this!
