The phone went off and my answerphone kicked in. Just as I was about to hear who it was, they hung up without leaving a trace of a message. Quite fishy, if you ask me!

This number isn’t saved in my phonebook and they didn’t bother leaving a message. Based on this info, I’m beginning to suspect it’s linked to some sort of energy fraud!

I noticed it was a number from Edinburgh, so I thought I’d pick up. Turns out, it was a chap claiming to be the 'local energy consultant'! I quickly ended the call.

I recognised the phone number and chose not to pick up. I’ve heard that it’s linked to an energy scam.

We've talked to just a couple of folks in Edinburgh, and I’m fairly certain neither of them are connected to this number. I also question whether it even hails from that area. Notably, this number is managed by 'Twilio', and I’ve honestly lost track of how many times it's been marked as dubious, with tons of comments labelling it as a spammer.

Given the lack of response, it’s likely a con.
