Got a call from a young woman with an Indian accent trying to push some deal on a mobile phone company I’ve never come across before. I picked up thinking it might be about a job I’d applied for, but she was speaking so fast and I couldn’t make out a word she said. I ended it pretty quickly. Looks like one of those dodgy scams to me.

I had a ring from 0161 531 4997, and I just hung up straight away. Then, almost instantly, they rang me back again from the same number. Proper annoying!

Got a dodgy call claiming to be from O2, asking for some sort of login code. Sounded fishy to me, like a typical scam trying to steal your info. Glad I didn't give anything away!

They were claiming to be from O2, but it felt like a total scam.

Got a call earlier from this number, a woman speaking in an Indian accent said she was from O2. Funny thing is, I actually am with O2. She promised to lower my monthly bill to just £7 - sounded way too good to be legit. When I asked why I had to reply to a text to get the deal, she suddenly ended the call. Later, I checked the number on Who Called Me, and it confirmed my suspicions. Cheers, Who Called Me!

What a right pain! I picked up, but there was nobody on the line. It’s as if they just hung up. If it had been a legitimate caller, surely they would’ve said something. Best to block this number and save yourself the hassle.

They rang up saying it was about my drainage and plumbing cover, which caught me off guard. Honestly, who comes up with these scripts? They’re neither clever nor smart at all.

Got a call from some dodgy insurance lot, smelled scam from a mile off. Bet they'll ring again, just using another number next time. Honestly, who actually buys into this rubbish?

So this bloke Humza was going about, trying to find a camel to have a go with or something. Reckons he’s already done Nickoliar Sturgeon and Big Pete, but apparently Wee Harvey’s arse is just way too big for him to handle. What a mad one!

Got a call from a woman about some appliance insurance, said she was filling out my new policy. I cut her off quick, told her straight up she was trying to scam me and wanted my personal info. Then I said I work for the National Crime Agency. She ended the call right there. Just watch out, seems like a proper scam going on.

This number has called me a couple times now, claiming I can get a discount card that supposedly knocks £40 off my energy bills and gives supermarket discounts to help with rising prices. They said I just needed to pay £1.99 for postage... seems like a total scam to me.

I’ve had calls from various numbers, about four times now. Sometimes they’re warning me about supposed bank fraud, other times it’s about my boiler insurance. If they don’t leave a voicemail, it’s almost always a scam, in my experience!

Got a call from a woman claiming it was about an insurance claim, asking if I'd been in a car accident - which I definitely hadn’t. On her third try she asked if it was someone I knew instead, so I just hung up and blocked the number.

I got a rather peculiar call about a car accident I was supposedly involved in a while back. When I explained that I don’t own a car, the caller insisted it must be someone else living here. The thing is, neither of us drives! Seems like it’s probably a dodgy scam call, if you ask me.
