This morning, I received a call from a chap with a thick Asian accent claiming to be from Vodafone. He was chatting about some bargain offer, but I firmly let him know I wasn’t interested. It reeked of a scam, to be honest.

I got a call from someone with an Asian accent, they were talking about mobile savings.

Got a call on my mobile, which isn’t listed anywhere. The number showed up as an Edinburgh code. A woman with an Asian accent spoke, but I could only catch bits about some “special deals” from EE or something like that. Honestly, it was hard to understand what she was saying. Normally, I wouldn’t pick up for unknown numbers, but since I’m waiting for a call from a company in Edinburgh, I took a chance. Lesson learnt. Blocked the number right after.
