Beware, this one's a complete con! I received a call from someone claiming to be from 3, my mobile provider, telling me they were offering me a 30% discount because of my loyalty. That raised my suspicions right away! I played along for a bit, but as soon as they started asking for my bank details, I pushed back and asked them to verify what model phone I had with them. They claimed it was an iPhone 13, which is utterly wrong. I promptly hung up, saying 'Nice try!' Hopefully, no one else falls for this trick!

“I received a call regarding an O2 mobile. The truth is, I don’t possess one. I allowed them to prattle on for a while until I could no longer tolerate it. Clearly a scam, and a rather poor attempt at that!”

Received a call from someone claiming to be with O2, who mentioned some enticing offer of a 30% discount on my monthly bill. However, things took a turn when he requested the 3rd and 5th digits of my account code to move forward with the deal. This immediately raised my alarm bells, so I feigned forgetfulness about those digits. Undeterred, he then asked for my email address, to which I asserted I was preoccupied and quickly ended the call. Oddly enough, I’ve since been bombarded with five missed calls from this chap.
