can’t stand all these scam calls blowing up my phone nonstop

Got a call from someone sounding Indian who said they were with EE. Was going on about my bill going up and how I could stay on a cheaper plan. I asked for details about when I joined EE, and he couldn’t answer. I’m not even an EE customer! Total scam!

This number got blocked straight away by my Android 12 phone. When I googled it, it turned up on this site and other places flagged as a scam. So yeah, it’s staying blocked on my phone for good.

It's a dodgy number, best to avoid picking up.

Steer clear of them! They disguised themselves as representatives of 3 mobile, claiming they had an incredible offer on an iPhone for me. It felt suspicious and quite dodgy!

Some bloke with a really thick Indian accent called, saying he was from Three or T-Mobile. Sounded like a total con. I just ended the call and blocked him straight away.

I picked up but stayed silent, hoping they'd say something so I could figure out who it was. Instead, they just hung up on me after a couple of seconds. Pretty sure it was just some test call to check if the number's active. Blocked straight away.

I picked up my phone and as soon as I did, they just ended the call. The number popped up as a scam, so watch out!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Three Mobile, a number linked to the 3 network here in the UK. Definitely one of those dodgy scam calls. The actual Three company is aware that I'm on their no cold call list, so this was clearly a spoof or something fishy.

I received a call from someone with a pronounced South East Asian intonation. They were promoting a new mobile plan that supposedly includes unlimited calls, internet access, and international calls for just £25 a month. Beware, this screams scam!

I struggled to make out much of their conversation. They attempted to pitch me some sort of deal for a potential mobile, but the truth is I've never held a phone contract in my own name, amusingly enough!

I received two calls in quick succession. I had my phone ready for the second one, but I couldn't pick up in time. Just last week, I had a similar call from a number that seemed familiar, where they were spouting the typical nonsense about my phone provider. In my case, that's Vodafone-definitely not O2. Quite a nuisance, to be honest!

Got a call from an Edinburgh number, but they ended the call as soon as I picked up. When I see a number I don’t recognise, I tend to respond with a cheeky 'Hello, this is PC Gottum from the police, how can I assist?', 😄

A message purporting to be from the heavens promising a whole month's worth of 40% off feels more like a right con job than genuine. Definitely not from above, if you ask me!

Absolute con artists, pretending to be from 3 Mobile and promising some sort of discount. I strung them along for a bit, throwing them off course with my questions until I finally had enough and told them to jog on! What a bunch of chancers!
