A woman called me up, asking about getting insulation put in my loft. She kept insisting, “Are you and your partner aged between 50 and 75?” Even though I told her at least six times that I live alone and don’t have a partner, she just wouldn’t seem to register it. It got me thinking if I was even speaking to a real person or just some automated system. Then, after about seven minutes of this nonsense, she just hung up without saying anything.

Got a text asking me to ring them back after a quiet call from a supposedly TPS registered mobile. They phoned at 5:18 pm on a Saturday evening! I’ve reported it to 7726 and blocked the number straight away.
