Someone rang me pretending to be from this outfit called TMA, saying there'd been some kind of road crash in the past 6 to 12 months. When I probed about which car was involved and the exact date, the lady sounded a bit dodgy and said they don’t have much info apart from why they called. Then she suddenly said there must be a mix-up and cut me off. I've blocked the number but I’m sure they'll be back, probably phoning from another number in no time!

These scammers have really done themselves in with this one.

Just got a call from someone wanting details about a recent car crash I was in. Really wish they hadn’t bothered, felt proper uncomfortable. Wouldn’t answer again if I could help it.

Got a call from someone claiming I needed to update my phone. When I mentioned I thought I already had the newest version, they asked what phone I currently use. Seriously, if they were legit from Three, they’d know that info already. Also, how could they say I’m eligible for an upgrade if there's no newer model available? Total scam, just rubbish! Don’t fall for it and don’t share any info with them!

Received a call from this number today, and it followed the same pattern that others have mentioned regarding a supposed mobile service provider. I've gone ahead and reported it, as well as blocked the number!

Looks like this caller is based in Edinburgh, judging by the number like others have said. I haven’t picked up yet but they keep ringing and its starting to get a bit much. Might be edging towards harassment honestly.

Got a call from someone saying they were with 3 mobile and had some offers for me. Definitely a scam, no doubt about it. I reckon they’re just after a voice recording of you saying "YES." That way they can use it to commit fraud pretending it's you. Most loans and agreements need you to say yes for them to be valid, so that’s probably what they’re fishing for. Don’t believe any of their so-called promotions, there’s nothing legit at all.

I got a rather dubious call from a gentleman with an Asian accent who claimed to be representing O2, attempting to entice me with a supposed 30% discount. This wasn't the first time I've encountered such a call, so I was immediately wary and decided to cut him off before he could proceed. I'm quite certain that he had all sorts of tricks up his sleeve, likely aiming to send me some sort of code that he would want me to divulge. Had I fallen for it, I can only imagine he would’ve used that information to order multiple mobile phones. Certainly not falling for that one!

Total con artist! I had an intriguing call from a chap with a strong Asian accent, claiming he could slash my bill by a whopping 40% because of some supposed shoddy service. I let him ramble on, but as soon as he mentioned transferring me to his 'supervisor' who would handle the discount, I swiftly disconnected the call and blocked the number. No way was I falling for that one!
