I received a call from this number earlier this week but simply decided to decline it. That's all there is to it!

Seems like there’s someone masquerading as O2 from the following numbers: 01975228141, 01313812548, 01313811478, and 02035236406. Be cautious!

I received a call claiming to be from O2, but the number didn’t ring any bells. The person on the line had a noticeable accent, and it was pretty obvious it was a scam. Best to steer clear of these sorts of calls!

Received a call purporting to be from O2, with a thick accent that suggested it was someone from India. They were offering a supposed 30% discount for the next six months, claiming it was a gesture of appreciation for my "loyalty". Oddly enough, they also mentioned sending me a "free of charge" gift hamper, letting me select between a charger or headphones. When I pushed back, explaining I wasn’t interested and requesting to be contacted through a different channel, the tone shifted dramatically. They wanted to know why I wasn’t keen on their offer and insisted, “It’s not like I’m asking for your bank details or anything.” I told them I believed O2 would sort any discounts automatically, without the need for my consent. At that point, the person abruptly ended the conversation.

Just had a right dodgy call from someone pretending to be with 3 network. It's blatantly a scam. I told them exactly what I thought of their nonsense!

I missed the call originally, so I tried ringing them back, but as soon as they picked up, they just dropped the call straightaway.

I was cut off abruptly when I inquired who they were trying to reach. Clearly not the friendliest individual.
It was a nuisance call pretending to be from the Three network.

Unidentified number, most likely just another nuisance call.

Received a call earlier, but they didn’t bother to leave a message.

I haven't saved their number, so it’s probably just junk.

Rang me at ten to four this afternoon. I didn’t manage to pick it up, but I’ve received four calls from various landlines today, all from numbers I don't recognise, and none of them bothered to leave a message. Took the time to look into all the digits, and wouldn’t you know it, they've all been in use today and flagged as spam by other folks.

Received a call earlier, answered it, but it disconnected right away with nobody there. Quite baffling!

Claimed to represent O2, but it definitely feels dodgy. Best to steer clear of this one!

Received a call seemingly from a call centre based in India, based on the accents I picked up on. They claimed to represent O2 but I quickly realised the caller ID was dodgy. Definitely felt like a scam or some sort of fraud. The moment I questioned their authenticity, their tone turned rather confrontational.

So it seems I received a call from O2, supposedly to offer me a 40% reduction on my monthly bill. I politely declined, and they just hung up on me! It’s becoming quite a regular nuisance, as I’m getting such calls every week from a multitude of different numbers, and finding a way to block them feels utterly futile!

Received a call around half two this afternoon, but there was no message left. Clearly, it wasn’t anything urgent.

I’ve lost count of how many nuisance calls I’ve received today, and wouldn’t you know it, this number has rung me twice! They’re really scraping the barrel, aren’t they? If they dare to disturb me again, I’ll have a few choice words for them!

Got a call from someone purporting to be from Vodafone. They were prattling on about an iPhone deal that included unlimited calls, texts, and data for just £25. Strangely enough, they didn’t bother to confirm if I was a current customer or anything of the sort. Quite clearly a dodgy scheme, if you ask me.

Received a call about an hour back. No voicemail was left, which seems dodgy, especially since I've seen that five other people reported similar calls here in the last hour. Definitely feels like a scam.

I received a call from a chap with an Indian accent who purported to be representing O2. When I confronted him, saying, "You’re not actually from O2; you're just trying to con me," he abruptly ended the call. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

I got a call from someone claiming they were offering me a discount on my EE plan and that I could upgrade to the iPhone 14. They said I had to pay £60 upfront, but that I'd be refunded after a few weeks or maybe months. It all felt fishy, especially when they started asking for my bank info. I rang my bank straight away, and they confirmed it was a scam. My bank told me they’d never ask for stuff like my card’s expiry date, so I just hung up.

I got a call from some Indian call centre claiming they needed to update my O2 contract, which I don’t even have. They were pushing some huge discount offer and sounded like they were just reading from a script. I told them off and said they were scammers, they didn’t seem too happy about that!

This is definitely one of those fake 02 40% off deals. These scammers are just trying to get into your phone account so they can rack up charges on your bill. 02 would never ring you out of the blue like this. Best thing to do is just put the phone down straight away and block the number for good.

Got a call that just cut out after about 10 seconds and no voicemail or anything. Also noticed it’s not picking up any incoming calls. Strange!
