I was in West Wales when my phone went off, showing a call coming from Edinburgh. As I haven't the faintest link to that area, I let it go unanswered. It only rang for a brief moment before it cut off unexpectedly, which seems like one of those typical scam calls. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

This is the second occasion I've received a call from this number, and all I get is the sound of silence. I decided to cut the call short.

I didn’t recognise the number calling in, so I chose not to answer. After looking into it further on this site, it seems it’s been flagged as a scam. I've since blocked the number and made sure to report it as well.

I received a call from someone claiming to be an energy advisor named Luke. As soon as I challenged his credibility by saying, "I don't believe you," he promptly disconnected the call.
