Just got a call a little while back from someone saying they were Vodafone. When I asked them to tell me my name, they suddenly ended the call. Honestly, I thought my phone company would already have that info. Looks like a scam to me - best to block and forget about it.

They actually had the nerve to call me again just to find out why I ended the call.

Just a heads up, this number is definitely spamming. Best to steer clear.

My phone showed a missed call from 0131 381 3122, rang for nearly a minute, but i just ignored it. Then roughly two hours later, 0131 381 1310 called and stayed on the line close to a minute too. I reckon these are spam calls, as my number hasn’t had any calls in like a year and a half since its only used for urgent family stuff.

I answered the call only to hear a robotic voice say “farewell” before the line went dead. Quite eerie, if you ask me!

Received a call from +44 131 381 1310 claiming to be from Curry’s PC World, attempting to push a phone sale my way. Quite the unsolicited sales pitch, if you ask me!

My phone, quite astutely, flagged the call as potential spam, and it promptly gave me the option to block the number, which I took without hesitation.

It seems as though someone was masquerading as O2, claiming they could help me cut costs on a contract that doesn't even exist. Quite the cheeky ruse, if you ask me!

I let the call go unanswered, as I don't know anyone in Edinburgh. The whole thing was quite serendipitous-I stumbled across this site while the phone was still buzzing away. Reading the comments here convinced me not to pick up at all.

Got a call from a number with no one on the other end. Quite peculiar, isn’t it?

They claim to represent O2, but the moment I mentioned that I wasn't an O2 subscriber, they simply disconnected the call. If they were genuinely O2, I reckon they would have shown a bit more courtesy. Definitely a scam!

Received a call from +441313811310, and the chap on the other end had quite a thick accent. He claimed to be sorting out a refund for an overcharge related to my internet security service. However, he kept pressing for my credit card details, insisting that the card information they had on file was outdated and needed to be refreshed. He was relentless in his approach. Although he mentioned they had some of my personal information, he couldn't provide any to prove who he was. In the end, I decided it was best to hang up.

"Got a voicemail notification earlier on, lasted about 4 seconds. It said to ring 22201 to listen to the message at standard rates. Oddly enough, a mate of mine who isn’t with EE received a similar message from a landline, claiming there was a missed message and needing to dial 22201 for retrieval. I foolishly attempted to access it on my mobile, but luckily I didn’t have sufficient credit to even get through - turns out it's one of those premium lines. Thank goodness I had my suspicions and didn’t end up losing any cash."

I received a rather peculiar call from someone with an Indian accent, but there was a noticeable delay, making me suspect they weren't even in the UK. They claimed to be reaching out about updating my Vodafone plan with some sort of discount, yet the irony is, I don’t even have a Vodafone account! Before I could clarify, the line went dead. Quite bizarre indeed!
