Got a call from 0131 367 0364, it rang twice. First time they hung up straight away, second time when I picked up, the person asked if they were talking to me by name. Said they were from o2. I asked them to take my number off their list as I didn’t want any more calls. They then got a bit pushy. I told them right away it was a scam and they weren’t really from o2. They claimed they were working for them, but I didn’t buy it and told them again to remove my details. They got annoyed and raised their voice but I stayed calm. Ended up just hanging up and blocking the number.

Best not to pick up these calls, they just keep ringing and probably pass your info around. If the number’s unfamiliar, just ignore it - if it matters, they'll drop a voicemail. This is the only way to deal with these leeches.

Some bloke rang me saying it was about renewing my O2 contract. I told him it was a scam cause my contract’s not even due for another couple years. Then the guy starts calling me rude and saying I must’ve been brought up poorly by my parents. I wasn’t having any of it, so I gave him a good bit of abuse until he finally hung up after about 9 minutes.
