I received a call on the 1st of November from this number, as part of a survey apparently linked to something called Choice. Typically, I try to be courteous as they're just doing their jobs, but I was swamped with work at the time. I attempted to express my apologies for not being able to participate in the survey, but before I could even finish my sentence, the chap started ranting on about how he'd been trying to reach me all day before abruptly telling me to be quiet. Absolutely dreadful experience!

Got a call and they just cut off right away, as per usual. I probably get at least 4 calls daily. Whenever I upload my CV on job sites (I’m a contractor), I notice this happens every year. Seems like those sites either don't protect our info or they’re selling it blatantly.

Some bloke rang saying he was from my bank and that my accounts were frozen. He wanted me to confirm my account info, but I just laughed and told him to find a real job. He threatened to report me for fraud, so I replied with ‘go ahead then!’ That really set him off and he started swearing at me. I wasn’t having it, so I threw a few insults back his way!

someone called me with a really thick accent i couldn’t make out what they were saying at all. sounded like they were from abroad but the words were super muffled and unclear.

Got a call from someone saying they're with HMRC about a tax refund. They sent a link to 'claim' it, which seemed off since I don't even pay tax. Looks like a scam to me. Watch out, folks!

It's awful how these calls keep targeting elderly folks, they really ought to be tracked down and dealt wit properly. Taking advantage of older people like that is just wrong.
