Got a couple of calls from this number today. The lady on the line spoke really broken English and the only word that came through clearly was 'housing'. When I told her I wasn't getting what she was saying, she just ended the call. I've put the number on my block list now.

Got a call supposedly about my boiler from someone claiming to be in Birmingham, and they mentioned the weather was nice here. Didn't know about Storm Barra at the time, plus the number they called from definitely wasn't a Birmingham one! Feels like a scam.

On Tuesday morning, 7th December, my landline showed this number buzzing at about 9:04 am, but it hung up quick before I could even pick up.

This guy called me, knew my name, and started asking about my heating system. He claimed he was backed by the government. When I asked how he got my number, he said from their database but couldn’t tell me where that info originally came from. I told him to take my details off their list. A few months back, I did a survey, and I reckon since then my info’s been passed around to loads of companies. I reached out to the survey folks and asked them to erase my data, but I’m still getting calls left, right and centre. The tricky part is figuring out all the places they've shared my details with so I can stop it once and for all.

There was this really strong foreign accent, and all I could catch was something like “Boiler” and a mention of a government scheme. I ended up hanging up right there. Tried calling back and it turned out to be from Consumer Plus. I’ve now reported them to the TPS.

Got a call from some place pretending to be a UK call centre, but it was just spam. They kept talking about a government energy scheme or something, but that’s all old news and not even around anymore. It’s all about some green energy scheme. Don’t waste your time with it. Just block the number straight away. Definitely not a proper UK caller, probably using a VoIP number to hide where they really are.

Someone rang asking if I'd suffered any damage to my property because of the recent storms. I just said no and they didn’t say anything else. Bit strange, really. Not sure if it was a scam or just a weird survey or something.
