Someone called to say cash was taken out of my bank account. Tried to warn me about it.

Got a call saying they were EE but when I asked about my phone details, they couldn’t tell me and asked me to confirm instead. I pushed further and they said they were from the promotions team and didn’t have full info. It’s happened twice now and both times they couldn’t give me any accurate info about my contract. Honestly, I don’t trust anything they’re saying!
