Got some dodgy texts saying I was eligible for a carphone warehouse upgrade, but it looked fishy with links included so I didn’t bother clicking. The sender showed as 'carphone' instead of a proper number, which made me even more suspicious. Later, I received a phone call from the same number, so I looked it up and it’s definitely a scam. Saw others mentioning the same thing down below, and they confirmed the number isn’t legit. Seriously, if you get a call from this number, just ignore it!

Got 8 calls in just 5 days. Quite annoying really.

I keep getting calls from them saying they want to upgrade my phone. Even when I tell them I’m not keen, they just won’t stop bothering me. Proper annoying!

Got a call from someone saying they were from Carphone Warehouse, pushing me to upgrade my phone without me agreeing first. I told them I wasn’t interested in upgrading right now, and they said they'd ring me again on Wednesday. Afterwards, I popped into Carphone Warehouse and they told me that number isn’t in their system at all, and warned me not to share any personal details.
