5 yearsPicked up the phone and it was just silence for a good couple of minutes. These annoying calls keep coming from around the Edinburgh Castle vicinity. Also get similar ones from the National Football Museum sometimes. This has been happening on and off for over two years now, since about early 2019. Such a pain!Edinburgh CastleNational Football Museum5 yearsThe call came from around Calton Hill, close to Waverley Station and Holyrood Palace in Edinburgh, an area known for gay cottaging. Just before, at about 6:12pm, I received a weird message about Women with Aids popping up on Evergreen, which is linked to a medical GP site. On top of that, my banking software has been bombarded with annoying messages for the past month or so. This adds to the constant flood of nuisance calls I’ve dealt with - both on mobile and landlines - which started way back on 29 March 2019 and again on 11 August 2020 on two different mobiles. Despite blocking the numbers, two social workers connected to Wimbledon Guild and groups like Need More Time and Commsave Boards faced disciplinary action: one had practice conditions imposed from 29 August 2019, and another was disbarred until 1 February 2022. I’ve never been one of their clients, nor anyone else’s. The calls keep coming from Initial Advice Limited, a company I don’t use either. That firm and its affiliates have faced strike-off notices in the London Gazette, including Initial Advice Limited based in Manchester. Although still operating, they barely escaped being struck off in April 2021.Calton HillHolyrood PalaceWaverley StationEdinburghEvergreenWimbledon Guild of Social Work / Need More Time / Commsave BoardsInitial Advice LimitedManchesterInitial Advice5 yearsAround July last year, I also got those annoying messages on both my banking app and Evergreen. It was something that happened about that time as well.Evergreen5 yearsThe first social worker’s disbarment has been pushed back from 01/02/22 to 10/02/22, while the second one faced another tribunal on 28/05/21 and still hasn’t had the temporary restrictions lifted despite numerous appeals since 29/08/19. This all started because of constant nuisance calls on two phones from Initial Advice Limited, which also goes by National Debt Management. I’m employed with two solid pensions, yet an increasingly irate bloke of Asian background has kept ringing me for over two and a half years, even when my debt is zero and I always pay my bills promptly. The calls even come from Ahmedabad, Pakistan, with this chap and some of his female relatives making calls for years, often preceded by a strange electronic noise. To top it off, I’ve been shouted “Fat Bastard” by passing cars again, just like before, coinciding with both social workers losing their appeal cases with Social Work England.Initial Advice LimitedNational Debt ManagementAhmedabadPakistanFatSocial WorkEnglandSubmit Your Own Report (0131 339 6546)
