I got a robocall claiming to be my internet company saying my IP was being hacked from different countries. They said they’d have to disconnect it and send a new IP and router for free. Then asked me to hit 1. I just hung up straight away.

Over the past few weeks, I've received multiple calls from 01313354321. The caller used a robotic voice, which oddly introduced itself as Shirley - quite funny since I’ve never heard a machine named Shirley before! The message warned me that my internet would be cut off because my IP address had been hacked in several countries. It urged me to press 1 to reach the help desk. I didn't bother pressing any button since it seemed like a scam. Plus, if there was a genuine issue, why hasn’t my connection been disconnected already?

Got a dodgy robocall earlier where they kept going on about my IP address being hacked or something, total rubbish.

Just like all the others, I got a voicemail about my internet being hacked and to "press 1" for help. I didn’t press anything, obviously, but I’m really curious what would've happened if I had. Who’s cashing in on this nonsense? It’s so dodgy!

I got a recorded call telling me my internet was going to be cut off in a day because my IP got hacked or something. It sounded dodgy so I just ended the call straight away.
