Pretty sure this is a spoofed number, looks like it’s actually from India. Got a bloke on the phone with a strong Indian accent pretending to be from Microsoft. When I told him to buzz off, he started getting a bit pushy and rang me again. Definitely a scam, he was trying to get me to let him have remote access to my PC, likely to put some dodgy malware or spyware on it.

definitely a con artist claiming to be from the ‘windows service centre’. when i asked him more about it, he got all arrogant and just told me, ‘go on then, ring the police if you want’. even though it was a uk number, i suspect he was ringing from some call centre in asia.
