01313225935 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 01313225935 👆 is reported as a delayed after-sales contact from AO.com following recent purchases, primarily to confirm delivery details and offer extended warranty insurance via a third party. While some callers found the sales approach pushy or intrusive, others described the representatives as polite and professional, with no evident scam intent. The number often appears using local area codes, which has led to suspicion, though AO confirms this is part of their call system. Recipients are advised to be firm if uninterested in additional insurance. Multiple calls without messages can be persistent, prompting some to block the number. Although legitimate, users should exercise caution with personal or banking information and verify directly with AO.com if unsure.

I bought a product from AO.com recently and then this number kept ringing me up three times within a couple of days. They already have my email, so if it's about the delivery, they could just use that instead of phoning. I'm not keen on chatting about any warranty stuff over the phone, which I guess is what it’s for. Also, they never leave a voicemail even though the option’s there, which makes me suspicious - feels like a pushy sales call trying to get me to buy insurance or warranty.

Barely 10 minutes after placing an order on AO.com and putting my mobile number in, I got a call from this number. Definitely wasn’t AO calling me!

After buying an appliance, I got a call from AO.Com about a warranty, even tho I hadn’t asked for one or ticked that option during checkout. Bit annoying really.

Got a ring from a number with my local area code. A bloke claiming to be from AO called and asked me to verify the delivery details for a device I supposedly bought. He knew the exact model and even the delivery postcode without me saying much. After confirming everything, he switched to trying to sell me an extended warranty. Felt a bit iffy but can’t really say it was a scam or phishing or anything like that.

My phone marked this call as a scam, but it turned out to be AO.com. Sure, they tried the usual bit about getting me to add insurance to my warranty, but they also called to check on a delivery I'd ordered. It wasn’t entirely dodgy. I just told them nicely that I wasn’t interested in the insurance, and the bloke was sound with it, confirming all my delivery info without any hassle. Just gotta be clear that you don’t want the extra insurance and it’s all calm.

Got a call from AO.com to confirm delivery info for my new washing machine. At the end, they asked if I wanted to add on Extended Insurance, but I said no thanks. They didn’t push or make a fuss about it either.

I got a call from someone who said they were from AO.com and wanted me by name, mentioning I’d recently bought a fridge freezer there. The delivery's only set for 19th November 2024 though. After claiming to be AO, the person asked if I’d got a warranty for the appliance. When I said I planned to go with Domestic & General, he then claimed he was actually from Domestic & General. I told him I’d get in touch with them myself and ended the call.

My phone rang and the number was one I didn't know. I ignored it at first. Later I checked it here and found out it's linked to some kind of warranty scam for AO.com. I’d just got a new appliance from AO the previous day, so that made sense. Seems like the number isn't used anymore from what I read.

Got a call about a washing machine I supposedly ordered from AO. The bloke sounded a bit dodgy and started talking about the delivery before pushing some kind of extended warranty with Domestic and General. I said I’d need to chat with my husband first since he wasn’t home. He didn’t seem too pleased about that, and when he asked for my sort code, I flat out refused. Even though the call showed an Edinburgh number, which made me pick up, turns out they’re not even based here.

At first it was just a call to confirm a delivery but then the person started acting like I was going to buy their insurance and got really pushy about it. After telling them twice that I wasn’t interested, they just ended the call on me.

AO rang me after I bought something, at first I thought it was just a polite follow-up. Then they started chatting about what I assumed was a warranty, but soon they were asking about setting up a direct debit. I told them I wasn’t interested and they just said alright, bye. If they’d properly explained everything from the start, I might’ve considered it, but the pushy attitude and making assumptions put me right off.

Just got a call from a0.com regarding a recent purchase. They asked if I wanted to add insurance for my item, and when I declined, they didn’t insist at all. Later, they emailed me in case I wanted to reconsider. Super polite and friendly, honestly the best service I’ve had - 40/10! Took the time to explain everything clearly!

I can assure you, this isn't a con. It's actually AO reaching out to verify a delivery. They provide insurance for your shiny new appliances, which is quite beneficial. I've got my four items covered and have even had to make a claim before. There's no excess, no fees for service calls, and no costs for parts. All of this for just a few quid each month. Truly a bargain!

yeah, it was about something I had bought for them. they basically wanted me to add insurance too, but since they ring back if you dont answer, might as well just deal with it straight away. charlie, who called, seemed really nice and upbeat.

I’ve finally sussed out who’s been behind these calls. They originate from a call centre in Manchester known as First Point. During our chat, when I mentioned I’d be reporting them, they spilled the beans that they were simply acting on behalf of another firm. They provided me with some details: Name & Registered Office: DENUO DATA LIMITED, 2B HADDO STREET, GREENWICH, LONDON SE10 9RN, Company No. 09032971. After a bit of investigation, I've found out the chap running the show is called Daniel Francis, who goes by Danny Francis on various business networking platforms. His mobile is 07776 422036. Following our conversation, this little dodgy dealer promised to wipe my info from their records and even fork out £100 as compensation for the hassle. I must say, he held his end of the bargain, as I haven’t been bothered by any further calls since!

Be warned: if you decide to make a purchase from AO.com, prepare to be bombarded by relentless sales calls! They present themselves as representatives from AO, supposedly checking up on your order and delivery specifics, but it’s all a ruse. Their real agenda seems to be pushing some kind of monthly insurance scheme for the item you’ve just bought. I ordered a little chest freezer online on Sunday night, and it’s now Tuesday afternoon - I’ve received four calls already! Each time, I’ve politely declined and requested they cease contacting me. During the most recent call, I even threatened to cancel my order entirely! After this experience, I won’t be returning to AO.com in the future.

I received a call from ao.com that seemed rather disingenuous. They claimed to be verifying my delivery information, but it turned out they were solely interested in pushing some sort of insurance for products I'd already purchased. Quite the sales tactic, if you ask me!
