They haven’t rung me since late October 2023, which was when I finally answered after getting calls almost every single day for a while. After reading the other comments, what this person said didn’t add up - the bloke on the line claimed he was running a paid survey for the BBC and ITV. Definitely a load of rubbish because neither would pay anyone for filling out surveys; ITV might give you a free month of ITVX, but the BBC certainly wouldn’t. I told them, as nicely as possible (which was actually quite blunt), to stop calling me altogether.

Had a phone call at 4 in the afternoon on a Saturday. I had just finished giving my other half some quality time. I was in just a towel, fresh after a shower, when I picked up the phone. The bloke on the other end was a right mess. He was stumbling over his words and mumbling like he was talking to himself. It was honestly the most ridiculous scam attempt I’ve encountered.
