I received a call from this number earlier today, but chose not to pick up. They left me a voicemail though. "Hello Karen, it's Lusha Lennard, the general manager of the hotel in Edinburgh, reaching out about your previous report concerning a theft in your hotel room. I wanted to inform you that we are initiating a full investigation into the matter. Please advise if you’ve already contacted the police and obtained a crime reference number... and so forth." The twist? My name isn't Karen! It was clearly a scam. The woman's voice, although articulate and quite convincing, gave it all away. Just a heads up to everyone to be cautious!
