I've been getting lots of calls where they just switch up the last number and ring again. I block each one but they keep trying, dialing me loads of times and then cutting off straight away.

Got about 4 calls from this number today. The first time I answered, but no one said a word. The last call was just some idiot giggling on the other end. Could hear loads of people talking in the background, sounds like a call centre. Honestly, it’s mad that these lot get paid to waste the time of people who actually work hard. Blocked them straight away.

Got a call saying i was involved in a crash within the past two years, except i moved from that place over 4 years ago and changed my name 3 years back. They claimed info came from some accident management database, but i couldn't find anything like that online. Quite fishy if u ask me.

Then day after that, 01312856876 rang six times, and yep, blocked again. Looks like a pattern, right? Today 01312856879 tried too, so I’m just gonna block that one straight away before it gets annoying all over again.

I keep getting calls from a number starting with 0131 285, first it was 6874 then the next time it changed just the last digit to 6875, caller ID blocked too. Looks like they're just switching the final digit each time. My advice? Grab a whistle and when they ring, answer and blow it straight into the phone - it really throws them off!

This morning, I got a call where the person started with "There’s a file on my desk saying you’ve been-" and I just cut it off and ended the call. Honestly, I should’ve just ignored it from the start.

I've been getting calls from 01312856879, 01312856873, and 01312856872. The first one claimed to be from AA but it’s just a dodgy call centre trying to scam. I don't even drive and haven’t had any accidents. I told them they've been ringing me non-stop and it feels like harassment, then they just hung up. Seems like they use the same base number with different endings - probably the same lot behind all of them. Wonder if they'll try other numbers next.

I’ve been avoiding this number for ages. Finally picked up today and all I could hear was noise, people laughing and chatting in the background - sounded like some call centre messing about. If they really wanted to talk to me, why all the nonsense when I actually pick up? After seeing what this site says, I’m definitely not answering again. Received calls from 01312856879, 01312856873, and 01312856872 recently. The first one claimed to be from AA but it's a total scam call centre. I don’t drive and never had any accident, so it’s pointless. Told them they've been ringing me loads and it's harassment but they just cut me off. Been getting calls from numbers very similar to this one all week. Finally picked up today and they immediately asked for someone called LEON PUNA. I asked for the name of the company so I could report them to the authorities since I’m on the TPS. The person on the other end had no clue what TPS meant! Pressed again for the company’s name and then they switched it up to say I’d been in an accident. I told them to wait while I contacted the proper people and they just hung up. The number showed up as from Edinburgh, but I’m sure it’s not legit.

I got a call from some auto help place asking about a crash they claimed I was in two years back. Thing is, I never had any accident! They kept pushing me for my postcode and where to send some cheque. Sounds like a dodgy scam to me. What’s to be done about these scammers? Somebody pretending to be Stuart Brown from AA Insurance kept ringing me. You can hear a busy office in the back, so it’s clearly a call centre. They’ve tried me about 5 times in just a couple of hours regarding a car crash! The bloke ain’t Stuart Brown any more than I’m the Queen. Total joke.

Clearly, the person on the other end wasn't based in the UK. It was the standard sort of con; they claimed, "We're reaching out regarding the accident you were recently part of." Such a cliché tactic!

So I got a call from AA about a car crash, which is hilarious because I don’t even have a licence! I made it quite clear they were barking up the wrong tree and told them to stop bothering me. Hopefully, that’s the end of it now.

I had a call about some third party insurance claim supposedly from an accident I was in over the past couple of years. When I asked for more info they got all dodgy and whenever I tried to find out how they even had my details, they just ended the call! I haven’t been in any accident at all!
