They claim to be from BT and offer to sort out your computer or laptop, but it’s definitely a scam.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent who said she was from BT Openreach. She claimed she needed to switch some channels on my router to fix my internet signal. When I told her I was about to check if my connection was working, she just ended the call. Pretty clear she was trying to get access to my computer.
