Got a call from someone claiming to be from BT Openreach saying there was an issue with my internet and that I was getting error codes. They never even asked for my name! I don’t have any problems with my broadband anyway, and when has a provider ever actually called you to tell you about internet issues? Even if I were a BT user, Openreach wouldn't be the ones ringing me since they're a separate company. The first few seconds of the call were full of GDPR red flags - total scam!
