Got a recorded call saying it's from BT and that my phone line was going to be cut off soon. Total rubbish, just some awful scam!

some bloke with a dodgy sounding tech voice called me saying he was from bt and that my internet would go offline in a day cos my router got hacked. he kept telling me to press numbers on the phone but it all felt fake and weird, like a robot trying to sound human.
