They rang me asking if I’d been in a crash, which I hadn’t, plus I don’t even drive! The moment I said that, they just cut me off. I’ve had PPI calls before and at least they tell you you’ll be removed from their list. Proper scammers, honestly.

I answered a call from what sounded like a call centre, and the chap on the line spoke in a rapid and muddled manner. He claimed to be representing a motor insurance provider regarding my car insurance and wanted to chat about a recent incident. I politely declined his offer, as I had no interest, and promptly hung up. It was quite evident he was just trying to fish for information. A reputable company would certainly have all my details at hand and would introduce themselves clearly, rather than rambling off an unclear spiel. I've now blocked that number, joining the list of others I've received lately. To be honest, the last time I had any incident with my vehicle was nearly 30 years ago, so I really can't imagine why anyone would wish to discuss it now!
