Initially, the line was silent, and after I cautiously said “hello” for the second time, it suddenly came to life, revealing a cacophony of voices in the background. A rather irritating individual addressed me by name, albeit mispronounced, and claimed it was a follow-up regarding some vehicular incident I was supposedly involved in. Lately, I’ve been inundated with similar calls, primarily concerning road traffic accidents or potential compensation I may be entitled to. It’s simply a bothersome interruption, nothing to get worked up about.
