11 yearsThis morning, I received a rather peculiar phone call. The person on the other end addressed me by my name and rattled off my address along with the postcode without any hesitation. Naturally, I was taken aback and inquired how on earth he obtained my personal information, to which he claimed it was sourced from his company. He assured me that they wouldn’t be bothering me again, but then proceeded to ask if I had ever shopped at a particular chain of supermarkets. Next, he wanted to know my age group, but I flatly declined to provide that information.
