I received a call from this number claiming they were investigating Payment Protection Insurance linked to my credit card or loan, and needed to ask me some questions. I made it quite clear that I wasn’t comfortable discussing any of my banking matters over the phone. The caller insisted that all she wanted to know was whether I had a credit card and which bank it was with. I pointed out that if this was indeed my bank reaching out to me, she would already have my details at hand, and reiterated that I’d rather not divulge any information. She then offered to send me a text with the company's website for me to verify their legitimacy, and mentioned she would ring me back shortly. I told her that anything can be found online, and ultimately, I wasn’t interested in this situation and requested that she refrain from calling me again.

Completly awful attitude, way too pushy and threatening, trying to scare folks into signing up for some insurance to pay for funerals and ‘keep their family safe’. Just disgusting behaviour.

I've had a few missed calls from this number, and whenever I try to ring it back, I just get a recorded voice saying "goodbye" before it cuts off. Quite frustrating, to say the least!

I received a call from this number, with the individual mistakenly asking for my wife by the wrong name. Just to clarify, this is MY mobile, not hers, and there’s no link between the two of us. The chap on the other end, who had a bit of a Geordie accent, claimed it was in relation to her supposed accident. When I informed him that no such incident had taken place and questioned whether this was just a scam, he launched into a foul-mouthed tirade. I let him rant until he eventually decided to hang up. When I attempted to return the call, I was met with an automated message simply saying “goodbye” before the line went dead. It’s evident that this is one of those disreputable call centre scams, manned by the lowest of the low.
