To my disbelief, she informed me that she couldn't comply because I supposedly had an ongoing claim. Her tone was quite abrasive. Things took a turn for the worse when she brought up an old address from my past and inquired if I'd made a claim for £2,000. Naturally, I reiterated my position and asked her to erase my details. She responded with, "Oh, how peculiar that it wasn't you!" and then probed about who might have filed the claim instead. They really are relentless, and in the end, I had no choice but to end the call abruptly.

This is clearly a scam! They contacted me claiming I could receive compensation for an accident that supposedly took place on my driveway back in 2014, which is utterly ridiculous as it never happened. They insisted they sourced my details from some 'national database', whatever that’s meant to mean. And even though the number appears to be from Edinburgh, it turns out they aren’t actually based there at all; it’s just a trick to make you think it’s a local chap on the line. Honestly, it’s quite pathetic!
