I received a rather dubious phone call about "cutting costs on our phone plan". The lady on the line had an Asian accent that was quite pronounced, and there was a noticeable hubbub from a call centre in the background. I have my doubts that this call genuinely came from Edinburgh, despite what the number suggested. I made it clear to her that we are registered with the CTPS, which means her call was indeed unlawful, and asked her not to contact us again. I’ve got little faith they’ll heed my request, though. After that, I simply terminated the call. Honestly, these individuals are a right nuisance.

I've been getting phone calls nearly every day regarding line checks and package upgrades from BT. The caller had a strong Asian accent and didn’t seem too pleased when I mentioned I wasn't interested. It's getting rather tiresome!
