I've got a BT internet account, and I recently got this dodgy email claiming to be a 'Voicemail' notification. It had a link to supposedly listen to a message, but here's the kicker - it was from someone named Linda Allen, with an email address that was [email protected]. I didn't click on anything, so I'm completely baffled by the whole affair. Not sure what the intention was behind that email!

I received an email notifying me of a voicemail left by this number. A quick search on Google reveals it's registered to To Create Ltd, yet the link provided to access the voicemail directs me to Cunningham Builders. I must admit, I’m not familiar with either of these companies, and it certainly feels like some sort of phone spoofing or fraudulent activity. I’ve decided to ignore the email altogether and kept it in my inbox without even opening it.

I'm not convinced that the phone number is linked to those dodgy scam emails. My theory is that the attachment, which has the exact same file name for everyone, could contain some nasty malware. I strongly recommend steering clear of the attachment altogether and just deleting the email. Better safe than sorry!
