Got a call from someone asking for a person with a different last name. I told them they’d got the wrong number, and then they asked if this number had ever been linked to anyone else about an insurance claim. Definitely a scam, so I’ve blocked them.

Somebody rang claiming to be from AutoAssist about a small car crash. They said Insurance UK Limited gave them my info. They kept insisting I’d been in an accident, but when I asked for contact info for Insurance UK, they just ended the call.

Typical scam robocaller. They’ve likely faked an Edinburgh number, coz if not, why hasn’t the TPS (and yeah, I’m on their list) done anything about it? That so-called Watchdog (TPS) needs a proper check-up, maybe a trip to the vet dentist - their bite’s useless and they’ve got no teeth at all.

Bit of a scam, really. They use some random person’s name and then claim that person had a car crash... really fishy company and just ridiculous how they’re messing with people’s phone numbers.
