Got a call about some car crash, they kept insisting I was involved. When I denied it, they said maybe someone at my place gave my name 😅 I told them I’ve got newborn twins, they’re not even up to causing that kinda trouble yet!

It's really frustrating, so I just ignore all their calls since they never leave a voicemail anyway. Initially, I had a young lady on the line who insisted I had been involved in a car crash (which, of course, I hadn’t). I quite happily let her ramble on while I carried on with my work-after all, it was their time being squandered. She was all enthusiastic, assuring me I was due for a hefty compensation payout as a result of this dreadful accident. Then she put me “on hold.” I waited for a mere five seconds before deciding to disconnect. Less than a minute later, she rang me back, claiming the call had been lost, and promptly placed me on hold again. This time a rather cocky chap took over, diving straight into my so-called “claim” and eventually stating that he needed my account of the accident to move forward. So, I responded with, “Here is my complete and utterly truthful account of the situation: I’ve been informed of an accident in which I was involved, and it must have been quite serious as I can recall nothing about it and have no idea what transpired.” He promptly hung up, hurling expletives as he did. It was absolutely brilliant! 😄
