Got a call from this number yesterday, some people saying they was from smarter life insurance. They knew my name which made me suspicious straight away so I just ended the call and blocked it. Then today at 8am, a different number rang me and said the same thing. These lot are pure harassment, really stressful. Really strange how the calls were coming nonstop in May, but now they’ve pretty much stopped for everyone. Someone called me asking, "Is Freya there?" and I told them they’d got the wrong number. Then they said, "No, this might actually be helpful for you!" Feels like they use fake names to get you to answer and then you’re caught up in something. I just hung up. Could be risky, but honestly, I have no clue who they were.

I've been receiving calls from this number for ages, and they never seem to pick up. I was hanging on for an urgent call regarding a mate of mine. Eventually, I decided to throw in a dodgy date of birth just for kicks and then told them I was simply being courteous by letting them ramble on - "I totally grasp your point" (which was a complete fib!). After about twenty minutes of this back-and-forth, they finally caught my drift and wished me well. At least they spent those twenty minutes not pestering someone else!
