When I picked up, there was a fair bit of racket in the background, almost as if I was connected to a call centre abroad. A lady with a foreign accent was on the line, claiming to represent some kind of PC service. I informed her that my computer was functioning perfectly well and that I had no need for what they were offering.

Got a call earlier today, about lunchtime. Heard some busy call centre noise, and a foreign guy said it was something about PC support or whatever. Told him I don’t own a computer, he just said sorry and ended the call. What annoys me most is the number had my own local area code, so you pick up thinking it’ll be someone nearby. Proper annoying, honestly!
