Got a call from someone claiming to be BT Openreach but sounded fishy, comes from India. They said there was a problem with my internet router and asked how many gadgets I had hooked up to it. Surely BT can check that themselves through their system? When I said "no idea," they just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from a guy with a stereotypical American accent claiming to represent the "Scottish Regionisation Programme" - not sure what that even means! He said they were checking energy use for people in the neighbourhood. I told him I wasn’t interested and asked how he got my number. He asked if I was on the TPS. I confirmed and also mentioned my number’s ex-directory. Then he said you have to renew your TPS subscription every month - absolute nonsense, if you ask me. I just ended the call and blocked the number.

Not sure who this is. It’s got a Forres area code. Called my home phone on August 30th 2018, must be the 7th or 8th time now. I also picked up a recent call that said it was from Talk-Talk - a cold caller using an 01309 number, probably not 638601 though.

0130 9638 601 First Home Solutions - they just barged in while I was trying to focus on something important. Wouldnt have been so annoyed if it was someone close or about something that actually matters, but no, it's about home improvements and I always go with a local business for stuff like that. What I suggest: report them to the ICO - https://ico.org.uk. If they get enough reports, they might get fined. Told the caller this and they hung up straight away! They must know they’re breaking the law (GDPR).

Got a phone call from some bloke named Stevie, said he was from Home Solutions. Before he could start his sales pitch, I cut him off and asked if I’d requested the call. He seemed confused and said ‘what?’ I repeated my question, and told him he was ringing a number that’s off the public directory. I told him to take me off his list and not bother calling again. Ended with a polite thanks for ringing and then hung up. I’m on the TPS list too, but it honestly seems to make no difference at all.

Like others have mentioned, these lot couldn’t care less if you're on the TPS list or not, they just keep ringing non stop. I’ve been hoping for ages now that someone will finally take legal action against them and hit them with a hefty fine for all the annoying cold calls they keep making. 29th May 2018, around 11:55am. Similar to what others have mentioned, a woman with a very courteous tone said her name was "Coral" from Home Solutions, but only told me the company after I asked who was on the line. She kicked off with the usual "Are you the homeowner?" sort of questions! Typical stuff. They act like they're conducting a survey but really it’s just a call centre trying to sell something. You can even hear the chatter and noise from a call centre in the background. I’ll be reporting them to the TPS just like everyone else.

Just got a call from this number (Edinburgh area code 0130) about half an hour ago. The bloke said his name was Adam from Home Solutions and wanted to talk to the homeowner. I told him I wasn’t interested and asked him not to ring again. He had the nerve to keep asking, "why not, why not," so I just ended the call. I’m on the TPS and will be reporting this number. Got a call from a company named Home Solutions, they said even tho I’m on the TPS list, they’re still having issues with it - I told them no way - if I’ve been on the TPS for ages, I shouldn’t be getting these calls. Then the woman just hung up on me. I rang the number back and got an automated message asking if I want to stop getting calls, I entered my number but it just kept looping. Wish I could properly complain to the higher-ups in that firm.

A guy rang our landline and asked if I owned the house. I asked who he was and if this was a sales pitch. He claimed to be from home solutions.
