got a robo call from someone with a weird accent saying my ip address was at risk. they told me to press 1 to reach their so-called technician. bit dodgy if you ask me.

Got a robocall claiming my intranet router's IP had been hacked, and they wanted my personal details. I rang up the intranet company just to check and they said everything was fine. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it and maybe tell the cops about it.

My mum, who’s quite old, just got a call saying her phone line would be disconnected. This isn’t the first time it’s happened lately. She quickly ended the call and rang me straight away. I tried calling the number back but got a voicemail saying “mailbox full.” It’s really upsetting.
