Shortly after, another message came through warning about cancellation charges and urging me to respond. The peculiar thing is, this restaurant is situated a considerable distance away-around 140 miles, in fact. Upon checking their operating hours, it was evident that they were closed during the times I received these calls. Quite the strange occurrence, wouldn’t you say?
