This is the second MBNA number that’s rung me. When I pick up, I just stay quiet, mirroring their silence. Back in the late ‘60s, my mum was getting rather inappropriate calls due to our involvement in the civil rights movement. All the Quakers were advised to keep a whistle handy by the phone, and the moment someone started to speak, we’d give it a good blow! It didn’t take long for the calls to cease. Perhaps it’s time to instigate a whistle initiative for these irritating calls we’re currently receiving? I wonder how quickly the word would spread among these pesky ringers!

I've been getting a barrage of calls from this number, right up until 9 in the evening. They seem to have quite the persistence, having rung me around eight times throughout the day. Quite bothersome, to say the least!
