Some bloke called Edward Wilson from "Talk Talk" rang me up asking to chat. I asked if it was about my router and he looked kinda shocked when I said I’d already guessed that! He then wanted to know how I knew, so I told him I’ve got telepathic powers. He wasn’t too happy with that answer and just hung up on me!

I keep gettin loads of these calls so I picked up and said “Good afternoon, Northumbria Police, nuisance calls unit.” The person on the other end started stammering bad and then just hung up. These scam calls are never ending!

This number has been ringing me non stop, like over 20 times just this week. They claim to be from TalkTalk about my router, but it’s obviously a scam. Don’t let them connect to your computer or give them any access, it’s dodgy. I told them I didn’t have a computer and couldn’t log in, so they just hung up. Then when I said I’m not even a TalkTalk customer, they argued back and then dropped the call. Honestly, I’m fed up with these con artists constantly phoning me. I’m definitely switching providers because TalkTalk aren't any help when you report these calls to them.

Was a bloke called Edward Wilson from some "Talk Talk" or summat giving me a bell the other day, asking to have a word. When I asked if it was about my router, he got all shocked that I already knew about it! Told him I was psychic or something, so I just guessed. Didn’t go down well with him, he sounded proper miffed and hung up on me!

I got called twice the same day. The first time, I just told them to buzz off ’cause they sounded like scammers. Later, when they rang back, I acted all worried and asked if they were really from TalkTalk. They said yes and even gave me my actual account number, but I just said "Can you say that again?" and then they just ended the call.

This number has called me on the 3rd, 4th, and 6th of January 2017. Since the TalkTalk data breach, I've had loads of calls from these scammers using all sorts of fake numbers. Sometimes there’s just silence when I answer, other times there’s a voice with an Indian accent after a short pause. Lately, they’ve started faking believable UK phone numbers, making it even trickier to spot them.

Some guy with a really slow Indian accent was telling me that hackers are using my computer and I need to turn on my router and listen to what he says to prevent it. If you attempt to return their call, brace yourself for some hefty charges, as it could be a premium rate line costing an arm and a leg per minute. It's highly likely these callers are from India, Bangladesh, or Pakistan, posing as representatives from TalkTalk, insisting there’s an issue with my internet connection. It’s nothing but a ruse, and they’ll try to get you to alter something on your computer. I wouldn’t go near it with a ten-foot pole! If you're a TalkTalk customer, it's wise to contact them directly and share what you've experienced. You can also block these nuisances.

somebody rang me saying they were from talktalk but called me mr williamson, which isnt even my name. they wanted me to install this software from a sketchy site, and my mcafee immediately warned me about it. when i asked him to stop and shut down mcafee, he told me to do the exact opposite! as soon as i pushed back, he just hung up. total scammer.

Got a call a moment ago from 01306 731171, with a woman speaking in an Asian accent just saying hello. I didn’t even bother replying since it felt scammy right off the bat. Got a call from 007507522619, some woman with an Asian accent saying I owed unpaid debts that weren't secured. When I asked if she knew who she was calling, she flipped and asked if I was some kind of magistrate or something. Told her straight to drop the call and leave me alone. Definitely a scam.
