I decided not to pick up because it felt like a dodgy scam call. When I looked up the location it supposedly came from, it was totally unfamiliar to me. So I just blocked the number straight away.

This energy scam keeps coming round, always pretending to be local. Bit of a pain, but I’m worried it might target someone who isn’t as careful. The caller usually goes by the name James, so heads up!

So I just found out they reckon your loft insulation should be inspected every couple of years. Seems like absolute rubbish to me. A complete scam, honestly. Don’t answer their questions, don’t hand over any details, and definitely don’t let them convince you to sign up for anything. The best thing to do is just hang up, report the number, and block it straight away.
