I keep getting ringers from loads of similar numbers, all showing up as South African mobiles. Every time I block one, another pops up the next day or so. They always start with "Hi, I'm (name), your local Energy Advisor." Total scam for sure. When I tell them about the Telephone Preference Service (which I've signed up to), they act like they've never heard of it and just keep pushing their rehearsed pitch about cheaper energy deals. It's clear they’re fishing for my personal info and probably my bank details down the line.

Got a call from some company called Solar Energy, said they were based in South West London. It was one of those automated things asking questions. I told them I wasn't interested and ended the call. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

I was just about to give them my number when they suddenly ended the call.

Had loads of dodgy calls lately, so when this unknown number popped up, I just ignored it. Looked it up here afterwards and saw it was spam, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked it now.
