Got a call, said hello but no answer, then they just cut off.

My phone showed a number from Dorking so I picked up, but after a couple of seconds there was no reply, just loads of chatter like a call centre buzzing in the background. The lady on the line spoke English with an Indian accent and even called me by name, asking how I was doing. As soon as I clocked the accent, I had to cut the call quick. Wouldn’t bother with it!

Havent rung back or left a msg, just blocked the number straight away.

The number showed up as from Dorking, but I don’t know anyone over there. So, I reckon it’s a cold caller or maybe a scam of some sort. My BT Call Protect blocked the call, and no one spoke or dropped a message either.
